We're Finally Going!!
Well travel day is finally here!! Matt and I will be leaving to pick up Benjamin Sat, April 22nd. We are very excited and it's a little surreal. It's been such a long wait.
On top of travelling overseas and becoming parents, Matt and I thought that wouldn't be exciting enough. Our adoption agency called us last minute and asked us to escort another 6 month old baby boy home to their family when we bring Ben home. After a whole 5 minutes we said yes. Although we may have jumped into a slightly stressful situation, we both felt it was something we couldn't say no to. It'll be good practice for having 2 kids someday....right???
These updated pictures are from about a month ago when Ben was 5 months old. We also got another video. I wish I was technically savvy enough to know how to include here but oh well.

Yay!!! Can't wait to hear all about it, and meet Ben! Good luck with the travels. My parents travelled long distances many times with us two young'uns, so it is possible, and what a gift to the other child's new family!
Hooray for Ben Bihn! We can't wait to meet him. Hope your travels go smoothly... And you'll get good karma points for escorting the other child home, too! Remember, the plane does eventually land!!! Good luck---we're thinking about you!
